Finding us

    Wm. B. Ide Adobe State Historic Park is located near the city of Red Bluff at the north end of California's central valley, 120 miles north of Sacramento.

    From the south, follow I-5 north and take the first Red Bluff exit. Turn left on Main Street at the stop light. Follow Main Street north through town. At the north end of town, the road drops down past a city park on the right and then climbs up a long hill. At the top of the hill, just past the Adobe Plaza office complex is Adobe Road. Turn right on Adobe Road and follow it one mile east to the park.

    From the north, follow I-5 about 30 miles south of Redding and take the first Red Bluff exit. This will bring you off on north Main Street. Follow Main Street south about one mile to Adobe Road (just past Tops Mini-Mart). Turn left on Adobe Road and follow it one mile east to the park.

General Information

    Ide Adobe is located on 3.91 shady acres on the bank of the Sacramento River. In addition to the historic zone, the park features a picnic area and access to the river. We are open from 8:00 a.m. to sunset daily. Parking fees are $3.00 for passenger vehicles, $20 for busses up to 24 passengers and $40 for busses of 25 or more passengers. These fees include admittance to the historic zone and use of the picnic area. Parking fees are waived in lieu of individual admittance during some interpretive events.
